1st July 2007 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: f3-5 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sun / cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Marginal at first but the wind soon filled in to give a consistent planing session with 6.7m and 125 litre. Good gybing practice and planed out of quite a few. Excellent to have solid wind to out-pace the dinghies without the risk of dropping off the plane in front of the racing fleet. After 2 good sessions changed down to 5.3 to practice helitacks and non planing duck gybes without getting punished by the sail so much. Slow progress. |
